    Morey is working the phones. Thinks it could be easier to get rid of him now instead of wait in the off season. Not even looking for much value in return. An expiring and possibly an easier contract to trade or buy out later. He knows that Ryno won't change their chances in the playoffs much. He isnt a difference maker. Ryno would rather this happen sooner than later. This has been in his head for a while. Just isnt the same. A source told me that he isnt even trying to bond with his teammates as much as before, he knows its pointless to get attached to this team.

    Don't like it unless we actually get a playable piece back .

    If we trade Ryan and one of pj/Luc/Ariza/green gets hurt then we are back to a short rotation .

    Ryan at least gives us depth that could get hot .. At a high price .

    This doesn't really make sense to me.

    The Rockets are good enough to legitimately compete for a championship.. THIS YEAR. Sure, we all wish Ryno provided more especially given his contract. But he can still provide minutes, rebounding, spacing and depth. He was actually big for us in the recent game against GSW with his rebounding. While I wouldn't mind trading him to try to upgrade our team somehow, trading him for little in return doesn't make sense since it sacrifices somewhat this year and for what, just for the chance of maybe being able to get Lebron next year? Maybe?

    It also seems like it would be easier to trade in the offseason when he is owed less money and if we had a pretty firm commitment from Lebron (or whoever else) that they were coming.

    I'm not an insider or anything, but that's the way it seems to me

    Both can be true. Morey probably feels like Anderson can be replaced with more minutes from Luc or Tucker.

    Clearing Anderson will help us keep Capela and sign LBJ
