Saying Morey has his eyes on Butler is like saying water is wet... doesn’t mean we have a chance at getting a deal done. We don’t have assets.

Only on a championship caliber team. Minny would be semi rebuilding if they trade Jimmy. They need assets for the 2022 season. KAT is just 22 years old.

I hate the Warriors and Durant. Every team has to think like this now. A few years ago if you could add this Eric Gordon to KAT and Wiggins you’re looking pretty good. Now it’s all “you’re still nowhere near Golden State so what’s the point of winning right now, let’s wait it out.”

It's going to have to be more than that. Our 1st round picks, on a team with Harden, Paul, Melo, and Butler, are worthless.

I like tomball jimmy as a player but he wants to be the makn guy... which won’t happen here. We have a better chance at havig Melo accept his role.

Well it's not even just that. Last year they were 8th with Jimmy (albeit him having missed time due to injury). With a core of KAT-Taj-Wiggins-Gordon-Teague are they top 8 among

We're not even talking contending here they're on the outside of making the playoffs. That's not really worth losing your star over you might as well plan long term.

P.S. I wholeheartedly agree with your first sentence though. F*ck KD now and forever.

Staying out of the trade debate, but glad I don't have to make the decision. Losing Gordon will hurt ....

I mean it’s hard for me to make that argument right now for this Twolves team. But usually a team with two twenty something year olds (one star, the other hopeful) a few years into the league you do want to bring in a veteran that’ll help you win and have KAT and Wiggins start playing playoff games or taking part in a playoff hunt. Yeah I don’t know. You’re probably right. I was gonna liken it to Denver getting Millsap.

I just don't see Rockets having the pieces that T-Wolves are looking for to surround Towns with.

Morey would have to perform some magical **** to pull this off.

Butler will end up on a team no one expects...anyone else scared of OKC? They always seem to sneak in and do something.

    "Rockets have no shot."
    "Rockets don't have enough."
    "It'll take a miracle."

Don't think the Rockets are the favorites or will land him but agree with Deuce: I suspect many will be surprised how "little" he goes for.

    "That's it?!"
"LOL Thibodeau. That's why you don't hire a coach to also be GM."
