He got way too much control/say within a bad team, the lowly Lakers.

Now that he is a 8th-10th guy on the bench, I doubt he got something to say, anything other than ship aspirations.

Zebras don't change their stripes. If you're a loudmouth who thinks ypu are better than you really are you will still be disruptive no matter how small your role is.

This is why the Rockets didn't sign him. We don't have space on our roster for guys that put up stat lines like these.

i don't know how I feel about players like Nick, it's only pretty when he makes ridiculous shots on nights like last night, doesn't really contribute to anything else. Players like that are hard to fit consistently into a lineup. Probably one of the reasons why we got rid of Beasley.

Would love him here. But he's not playing over Gordon, who I think is as good as Klay Thompson this year. The Rockets really need a 3rd point guard with speed more than another scorer

He's like Thornton, a guy you love for a second and then realize he wants his own shots and can only take shots. Also, it's easier for a guy like that to fit with the Warriors where you have multiple stars and guys like Green who will put you on your ass if your ego gets too big.

Yeah, he took and made a lot of terrible shots.

Great game last night from the scoring perspective, which is all you want a bench player to do, fill one niche at a high level, but I don't think it will last, and I don't think it's healthy for Golden State in the long run to have a checker.

Lol I recollect there were times that bench scorers were welcomed everywhere. Not long ago.

Sure he was ridiculously hot last night.....but I'm pretty sure Corey Brewer scored 51 on the Rockets once too so I'm not sure how much that one good game should sway opinion.

I don't remember the source, but there's a famous quote about how you can win with 1 knucklehead on your team... but if you have two, they breed.

Pass on Nick Young any day. Bad influence on Harden.

He is a chucker who made shots. The next game he could go 1-6 from 3 and contribute nothing else. Not really all that valuable.

6-7 from three and he was still a net negative out there. You can plug any of these previously incompetent guys like Nick Young and McGee and they'll look competent on the Warriors, not the Rockets.
