He made a video of Young saying he smashed some chick when he was married to Iggy, and it went viral. N. Young didn't know he was being taped. Ultimate betrayal by a roommate when you having man to man talk on the road. You don't mess up family.

His defense has improved this year. What is he shooting? Like 41% from 3? He'd be nice. Imagine a bench unit of Lou, Gordon, Swaggy P, Dekker, and Nene. That would be fun to see. Bev, Harden, Ariza, Ryno, Lou, Gordon, Dekker, and Swaggy P are all capable of making 3's.

If we were going to trade for Young, it would have been a part of the Williams trade.

Too tempting to pass on IMO. Dude been shooting lights out all year and with him coming off the bench our 2nd unit would be able to score at will. EG, Lou Will, and Swaggy is a starting lineup on some teams.

I also would like the symmetry of bringing in 2 players that already have chemistry (Ryan & EGo)

Screw Shumpert, swaggy p for a 2nd is too good to turn down. He's playing good defense this year too. You can never have too many shooters. He's also capable of playing SF and could start in place of Ariza if the need required it. Small ball lineup with Swaggy p at SF and Ariza at PF.

If can somehow pull off finding a competent interior presence that's a filthy team. Morey has approached this deadline the right way - we don't have to look to land a star everytime, we just need more guys who can get hot and contribute. We are beginning to assemble a team of guys who can do something off the dribble and play two positions. Excellent work.

Why would Houston make 2 negotiations with the Lakers? Seems to me that if DM was interested with Swagyy, he would have done this deal during the LW trade talk.

This is an exceptional circumstance due to their abrupt front office changes

Makes sense if Morey was interested, wouldn't he have traded for him along with Lou Will? Only possible explanation is Morey was scouting the trade market for bigger names like Wilson Chandler first. Since Chandler, Gallo, or any other big name isn't really likely, Nick Young could be an option. Look out for OKC though, they have wanted a SG/SF for a while now.

I read on one of the posts that Harden jokingly told Pelinka to get us LW so he was in the mix by then. Additionally, there is also a thread about lakers offering us swaggy last summer for a 2nd rounder but we declined.

I'd say you just answered your own question, I think that's exactly what has happened.

Yeah I'd be all in on saggy d for the 2nd. That's a much better deal than Bev for sherbet.

I don't think there is any room for him with Williams and Gordon currently manning the backup PG and Shooting guard spots.
