“He came back in extremely aggressively and then threw a very aggressive punch again to somebody who wasn’t looking and that’s a very dangerous play."

That's why he got suspended for just one/two games more

Ingram is really lucky VanDeWeghe played in an era where he’s seen and been around much more serious ****.

The story should be about the Rockets holding LA to 18 points in the 4th, with Harden taking over offensively and LeBron being taken out of his game by PJ. Instead, it's about this fight, and spit, and wild punches thrown, and that CP3 could have been a contender... as a boxer. Just another game in Los Angeles, right?

    I'm going Ingram - 7 (b/c of that b**** ass Tomjanovich-like sucker punch out of nowhere that thankfully didn't connect) , Rondo - 3, and Paul - 1 .

Paul got screwed as far as pay goes compared to these other guys. And, they were the instigators.

I expected as much, this is NBA's version of justice.

Kiki should have looked at who started the fight and the cost to each player, not just in games, but salary. Now you've got Paul defending himself and losing much more money than Ronda and Ingcrap combined. That's BS. You defend yourself and your punishment is worse than the instigators--how is that fair or equitable. Ingcrap should have gotten at least a 10-game suspension for swinging on a defenseless man (Lebron was holding CP3) that is downright Kermit Washington like and CANNOT be tolerated in sports. I'm ok with Ronda's suspension, but Ingcrap was acting like a total PUNK. CP3 should have lost one game.

Just as I suspected, Lost against Clippers.

Jazz is going to be even harder. CP is the one that gives Gobert the most trouble on defense with his mid range game and takes him out of the game. Now Jazz can concentrate their defense on Harden.

So Paul gets suspended after all... Well, this punishment pretty much confirms how Silver/Vanderweghe themselves would act in this situation if they were in CP3's shoes. If someone spits in your face, try to avoid direct eye contact and just quietly walk away with the tail behind your legs. And if someone punches you, just lie down in the fetal position and wait until it's all over and then call the cops.

I had a feeling that poking in the eye is pretty severe in terms of severity.

You can't touch a player's face or throat (strangle).

If Chris had just thrown the punches outright, it might just be 1 game suspension.

    Not nearly enough for Ingram.

Paul and and Rondo are fine (probably should have gotten the same amount IMO). But Ingrams bush league nonsense deserved more, 10 games or so.

Rockets not having CP for the Utah game. What I was fearing. Looks like a loss unless the team has a super human game from Harden and all of the role players show up.

And as I am anticipating, prepare to hand over the crown as 2nd best team in the West to Utah -- National Media.

Somewhere, Jamele Hill is wondering why Harden didn't get any suspensions for "instigating" everything.

    The suspensions were not fair.
I have no problem with CP3 at 2 games but rondo should be at least 4 games and Ingram should be 6 or more.
