I don't mind bringing him back.........for the vet min. And I don't see another team investing more than that in him.

    2 year contract......2nd year non-guaranteed.

Good. We need player that can play D badly. Handled the right way, he's a "spur" type player :).

He's always been a hard worker. At UT when they would do funny interviews by teammates he always had a scowl on his face. He might take himself too seriously and in the end he might have an issue with being able to dissociate his frontal lobe from his emotional primal brain and hence he caves at game time. Can we please give Hamilton Troy Daniel's brain.

    Hook'em!

What we need is our own Shane Battier back. WE NEED to make a pitch for him, with any other free agent we're chasing this off season. He also deserves a thread of his own. Unfortunately i'm not allowed to start one.

Yeah because unless you mean we need him as some kind of off court mentor it would be a garbage thread.

You need to check out news. He is either retiring after this postseason or next one.

Very unlikely Hamilton is back with the Rockets. His option was denied by the Nuggets prior to the Rockets getting him.

This would only matter if there's a bidding for him, as the Rockets I believe can only offer up to ~$3mil/yr for him. But he's not getting that much. The Rockets will probably offer him the veteran minimum. He may get more, but to me seems unlikely.

He's signing for the min, if he even gets such an offer

    We will see.

I know that there are teams that are interested in him and I am not certain the Rockets really want him back.

This summer the coach that has been seen the most in the practice facility has been Kevin McHale.

The guy has been working all day. Rockets management has taken notice and is very impressed.

Maybe my memory's faulty, but the guy impressed early, got off to a good start, and then seemed to disappear, seeming a bit lost out there. I think Hamilton has some potential, so my guess is that he's trying to make sure he isn't forgotten. That he gets another shot. Thanks for the info, cyberx.

Which teams, and how do you know? Thanks.

JHa seems a player any team might sign but not a player any team would be targeting, certainly not before dust started to settle in mid-to latter July; or September.
