    Nick Young > Sam Dekker

Swaggy P could actually be a really solid bench player especially if he's on a serious winning team that has players like Harden around him

Nick Young is better than a lot of players in the league. Dude has 2 seasons already at over 17 ppg.
But he can't really stick anywhere.
Not really a great locker room presence.
Not the best "winning" bball iq.
More than anything... this isn't a big, up your sleeve move.
    Interesting, but meh...

Nick Young is immature but he can play.

nope, our gm has repeatedly said Dekker is better than Harrison Barnes. He'll never trade him unless we get a superstar in return.

Went from CP3/George/Millsap threads to Swaggy P, the German kid and Les' financial issues.

    Life comes at you fast.

Swaggy P is super streaky and can shoot, only thing is he takes a lot of bad shots, but at least most of the time, they're from the 3 point range. Depending who we pick up, if any of the stars, he would be a good replacement for Lou or Eric if they are traded.

Are you ready for the warm and fuzzy article about how the Rockets will look to internal improvement as the players are more comfortable with what D'Antoni wants and they have learned from the adversity of the Spurs series?

It is coming.... be prepared. I expect some quotes on Lou Williams and Ryan Anderson being ready to compete.

If the Rockets sign Nick Young, he's gonna play PF.

If we sign Nick Young it will be because Morey struck out again...

It will be a sad attempt to claim success for the offseason... just because of the whole 'Swaggy P' rhetoric it will be an attempt to add a name that the casual fan will recognize and think that we did something....

We werent interested for a 2nd rd pick... but now we're willing to dish fa $/contract? ....smh....

More than anything, Young will be a cheap replacement to Gordon or Williams if either are traded.

This is a lateral move. Take a step forward or take several steps back. That's the key.

As for me, I'm waiting for the "we're going after LeBron" articles next year from Les and Morey.

    Bump.

This is seeming like a feasible thing to happen with Lou Will gone and with the aforementioned "trade pieces falling".

    But for how much?

    That's the question.

A lot of the whiny posts in this thread didn't age well.

If you look at ESPN's real plus or minus his name sticks out. He is like the 40th highest rated player.
