Sources: Dmo to sign with Jazz if Favors misses extended time

Looks like maybe BJ leaked that vague info about Utah ("If Favors is lost for extended time") in order to flush out dormant offers.

Maybe or maybe there is also some interest. After all Jazz is winning right now and perhaps they are in wait and see mode.
Last week Lowe mentioned that the Favors injury seems to be more serious than thought.
Favors is crucial for the Jazz and if he is out for the season things will be difficult for them. Gobert is also sure to miss some games in season.

 

They don't need Favors, he is too slow, Gobert surrounded by what they have now is a better well rounded team, IMO.
