    What do the metrics say?
Yeah? And what else to make the salaries work? I’m just not convinced the Clippers do it.

You wouldn't see Deandre go up and get blocked by a SF multiple times like this

Pretty good suggest, tbh. If anything happened, feels like it would be a 3 way move.

Why did the block on Clint remind of this block on Yao? I feel as though Clint has those "soft" tendencies that Yao had.

    More durable.

    Can play more minutes.

    Is far more physical.

Is a vastly better interior defender.

    Better rebounder.

Finishes as well inside as Capela.

    Familiar with Paul already.

They'd trade him but they will want first round picks or young talent.

We have to include Ryan Anderson in any deal so that means we have to include the cost to move him.

    Think about the cost here.

Is Deandre better than the combination of Ryan, Capela, a first round pick, and 2nd and say Joe Chee?

Yep getting rid of Anderson alone is worth it. IMO

Not gonna happen unless rockets gut some key players which I’m not sure it’s worth

rockets would never give up all that for DJ, so the trade won't happen.

All of this, and while CC may have a softer touch around the basket, he has a propensity to settle for layups when dunks are there for the taking. Bull often points it out, and I'm not sure if it's related to poor stamina or just a lack of aggression, but it's frustrating to see from a guy with his length + bounce.

DJ could also push the notion that he's 100% going to decline his player option and walk this summer, which kind of forces the Clippers' hand and strips them of some of their leverage in negotiations. They can either stand pat and try to claw their way into the 2nd round, at best, and then lose DJ for nothing, or... they can start hunting for the best deal possible with the deadline in mind, and if it's a young DJ replacement they covet, who better than Clint? I think anything attached to the BKN pick (TT, maybe) probably trumps that, but I'm not sure Altman is willing to part with it considering Bron's future is in flux.

FWIW I don't think it happens this year. It could possibly happen this summer. It really depends on what Jordan wants to do.
