Since everyone seems to be throwing their contributing status around I dunno what's the big deal about making a donation it's just a 1 time thing. I bought a support package to keep this site going for the whole year.

If you like the site and you can afford to, you should make a donation simply because it costs money to run and it's a way to contribute to something that gives you so much entertainment. Entertainment isn't free. This is the best BBS on the internet for a sports team and one of the few to really thrive still despite things like Whatsapp, Discord and Reddit that have killed most message boards. But again, not everyone can afford to give away money and Clutch doesn't demand money from anyone to use the site. You don't get any special rights to be a jerk or get away with anything. Clutch deals out justice regardless. Edit: Also, I'm sure Clutch profits off of the site and I'm cool with that. He's provided a great entertainment avenue and an informational resource. People should get paid for that.
And that's why we and other members who have supporting status can tell people that don't have supporting status to go back to where they came from without guilt. #holicisms

Wow... new level stuff! Not cool @basketballholic. I really do appreciate this site. And will contribute as soon as I can afford to. But I feel that was over the top. Can we just keep it cool and agree to not pop off like that? For the sake of a good ole fashion debate?
You may get priviledges like King Cheetah mentioned and maybe invite to annual Christmas party in Clutch's mansion in River Oaks back of the envelope math 1. 50,000 members, say a meagre 20% contribute that's 10,000 members 2. Say an avg donation of $50 per year, that is 10,000*50 = $500,000 $500k less expenses to host the site etc should mean Owner and mods are pocketing at least $300k. Should be sufficient to ride the Corvette or attend end of year party
