    Only if Rozier is added.

risk is high and reward is high. IF we dont have to give up any key players and just involve picks i think the risk is very low. we can always trade players we have for more picks.

Spice things up by making a second trade of Nene and Qi + a 1st for Korver and you have a legitimate bench now

    Capela
    Tucker
    Ennis
    Harden
    Paul

    Hayward
    Rozier
    Korver
    Clark
    Hartenstein

If Morey were single, he'd be hitting on the same woman every night, knowing she's a lesbian: "I can feel her resistance crumbling. Time to close the deal."

Picks? That would be an insane and reckless move. No picks at all. You can't always trade players for more picks, in fact you can rarely do it unless you're outright tanking. But we would be in such a terrible situation because no one is going to give us picks for Paul or Hayward unless they are shining. You wouldn't want to trade Capela because he's young and on a good contract.

Just total disaster. If THEY give US a pick maybe. The trade is not mathematically possible without giving up Gordon or Tucker, who are key players.

Right now I would much rather have Gordon at this salary and this flexibility. You don't give up picks for a Gordon Hayward than his GM is contacting US about.

Do we all come to an agreement that these "sources" posts never come to fruition? The player always ends up somewhere else....lol

What good is a legitimate 5 player bench when MDA only plays 3?!!

If you get him for free, this might be a worthwhile gamble.

However, it is basically impossible, due to salary matching, to have to give something of value.

We all know Morey is 10 steps ahead of everybody. We can really reshape this roster for this year and next with the right moves. We are a old team but our superstar is still young.

    I asked around about Hayward.

So far no one has heard about him being pushed in trade talks.

Doesn't mean it isn't happening, just that they haven't heard about it.

Mostly have heard about the Grizzlies and Suns being open to discussions.

    The Suns are highly motivated.

That adds up to 23-25 million.

The Suns----aren't they looking for a point guard?

Memphis has actually not been horrid so far. What are they after?

@cyberx always bringing the fastball. Great stuff.

In time, if Hayward wasn't playing well. I could see Ainge exploring things, I just felt like they would give him a "full season" to see. But look, that team has Tatum and Brown. Kyrie coming up for a check. They have to watch their books.

Not surprised Ainge would perk up about Rockets throwing around First Round Picks. Ainge would love to pad his war chest of picks to then turn around and Godfather offer to the Pelicans for AD.

The Rockets DID have interest in Hayward during his free agency. But is he going to get back to All Star form? That would be a gamble.

I have more faith in Jimmy Butler than I do in Hayward. I wouldn't give up as much for Hayward as I would for JB.

That said, Hayward returning to his All Star level....would be a GREAT fit on this team. They could use that type of player at the forward spot. And the shot creation it could bring.

I'd be interested in Richaun Holmes or Troy Daniels. Holmes would fit into the Ryno trade exception.
