It would be so ill-advised and reactionary to lose Morey. I watched our middling teams enthusiastically, with pride. In college in Austin, I would go to Aussie's and pay basically $20 for a ****ty burger to watch Yao and T-Mac. Before that the Francis years, and Barkley/Pippen, and before that, Zan Tabak, and Chillcutt. This was the first season I got for FREE in Austin, and I watched maybe 3 games. This is the first season EVER I haven't cared to watch this team. I knew what I was seeing and didn't care to invest myself in their perpetual, obvious downfall. Give Morey a chance to react. McHale deserved that, and we can see what thin, basic reaction got us. He's a great GM. Give him at LEAST one more year. Don't be a fickle teenager.
CHI is legit... Damn, Daryl Morey is one of the best GMs in the NBA. Big mistake by Les, in my opinion. I have no doubt that if this is true, Daryl Morey will get offers from other teams.
Welp...if that guy is legit i think we're ****ed. Fire Morey to give full control to a coach is just...wow. We're going to lose Harden sooner rather than later if this is true imo.

Morey's apologists are afflicted with the same problem Morey has: he thinks and acts like he is leaps and bounds smarter than everyone else in the business when clearly and much to the Rockets woe, he is not.
And if full control for jvg theory true. What has jvg ever done to show he can build a team. We know he can coach, doesn't mean he can acquire talent.
Have you ever consider the maybe he actually is smarter than most of other gms (looking at his history of moves) or than a random coach (which is going to do a job that he doesn't even know how to do)? I think you should.
It's getting to Twitter now; don't know if legit... Spoiler

Sources: Daryl Morey to be fired within the week.
