If you watch the replay of the shot, it appears Lillard took three small, choppy steps to square himself for the shot. No dribbles. Caught the ball with a foot coming down, took two steps, and then a third to plant for his jump. #justsayin'
They had to rescind two BS fouls on us earlier in the series. Do you think that this would ever be called?
Obviously it happens all the tome and doesbt get called, but I just wanted to point it out. No attempt at using a pivot foot, which would have slowed his shot and rhythm down, affecting the whole situation.
Remember he did all of that in .9 of a second and watch the light it did NOT go on until the ball is half way to the bucket... UNREAL
Once you catch the ball you can take 2 steps in rhythm. It looked like 3 steps when you slow it down but it's actually considered 2 steps. This allows a player to run full speed into a catch and shoot situation like Lillard did.
Well call it a makeup for Asik's much more egregious travel-no-call... Keep it moving.. nothing to see here folks..
