I woner if Solomon will hire hitmen if the rockets become a fast paced team. he is the only one in this town that sets paces. no wonder houston has so many traffic jams. Solomon wont allow anyone to drive fast until he sets the pace.
LOL! Your posts are getting better and better. You just compared a 3 time scoring champ to somebody with a 2" vertical and ZERO athleticism. Since they are the same player let's offer OKC Scola and the first rounder from Toronto for Durant.
Enough of the off topic stuff. It's all about the coaching. Coaching has to have accountability. The coach has to develop a point guard to run the team. The point guard has to set up other players. It's team ball, not hero ball. The Organization has to have accountability and until that happens we will continue to rebuild.
What future?? The fact of the matter is, the Rockets as constructed 2 weeks ago were never going to be more than an 8 seed. Having Dwight Howard on the roster changes that immediately. He may leave after a year...but the risk is worth it. Keeping the car in neutral for another year is the worst possible idea. Morey is making high risk, high reward decisions...if it works great! If it doesn't we get the tank so many posters have been calling for. Win/win
Solomon is normally trash but This article has some good points. He puts the big picture into perspective and he is right on about how we shouldn't freak out about losing Lowry. Im surprised he wrote a positive article on the rockets front office, he usually rips on them and proposes some idiotic franchise killing alternative to what the front office is doing.
Has anyone seen Howard play against Nba competition since his back surgery? Where's the high reward in Howard if he never played this past post-season? It's all speculation. People think he's super man but havn't seen him since his injury and surgery. Remember how Tmac lost all of his athletism after his surgery.
The topic has been the same. At some point, the coach has to roll with the talent that the General Manager puts into the locker room. At some point, the public relations campaign has to end and you have to roll the basketballs out and you have to hoop. At some point, the general manager has to hold the coach accountable. The coach has to put the players into positions where they are each holding themselves accountable.
Clutch should make an exception with "writers" such as Solomon. No need to post the link to their articles. Straight copy/paste. Don't want them to get hits on their page.
