Mexico Tuesday, October 11, 2011 Mexico will field a strong European-based young squad returning from Gold Cup Success vs. a skilled young Brazilian new core.
Looks like y'all had a good showing. Tonight versus ECU at Red Bull Arena should be a good contest. SPEED vs. COUNTER. Tonight, my Tri will FINALLY get tested. Hopefully the absence of GIO and OCHOA won't hurt us much. We're planning to start Oswaldo Sanchez (ugh, I don't like him, but he deserves one last game) and probably Márquez.
GOL de Chile! Chupete Suazo - 4-2 Sorry, y'all, that was all I could find on the radio . After the half, at nils. Entering are Spector, Beasley, Bradley.
Well the USA played really well in the first half, but those subs in the 2nd were not as effective, and one bad defensive play by a guy that probably should not be on the squad and game over. I liked the play from Bradley, Shea, Dempsey, and that was great ball holding by Altidore....one more guy, GOOCH...welcome back. DD
I feel that this team is trying to adapt to a new system that would allow them to compete without looking overmatched on a game-by-game basis. Hopefully, it will show when qualifiers come around.
You guys are... actually saying... y'all are ok with the dismal 2 goals and only 1 win, versus Honduras no less, under the new coach? SRSLY? Ok... suit yourselves. Anyway, I agree, david... wasted opportunities.
Golazo!!! It had to be Ronahldinho that saved them. 1-1 Oswaldo should have stopped that. It was HIS side. I said it before. He hadn't even been tested. Another shot... and he's on his knees.
On a side note ... Who's ready to go to Qatar!?!?! http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/1...r-arrested-in-saudi-arabia-over-jesus-tattoo/ you know there will be similar intolerance in Qatar ... Still not happy with that decision
