I highlighted the more interesting players. I wonder if any of y'all could put together 2 or 3 competitive teams from the above list...it looks pretty bleh. A team of Gilbert Arenas Leandro Barbosa T-Will Andray Blatche Greg Oden Would be a playoff team in the East....
I would take a chance on Blatche for the minimum, Oden too if he can actually play. Anyone interested in bringing back T-Will?
Your done. The roster is full. Short of making a trade there is no room for middling talent to pump our win total by half a game at this point. We got enough to do all of that already and enough to spread out those rookie minutes just enough as it is.
Wouldn't mind bringing Ish back in. Brian Scalabrine would be fun too to fill that wise-veteran role.
I assume you meant to post this in the Dish. I've always wondered how teams of free agents would do in the league, I usually try out an association with a team of free agents in 2K. Anyway, going from your list: Arenas/Smith McGrady/Barbosa/Redd Delfino/Gee/Kapono Blatche/Yi/Amundson Oden/Okur
Thought you highlighted some interesting players, but I don't see much interesting in almost any players you highlighted.
Normally I would, but I think there's a reason no team has touched him for nearly two years. His medical records must be worse than you or I know. Still, a 2 year, league minimum deal with a team option would be nice. We could play him about 10 minutes. If he doesn't hold up, we let him go.
I'd roll with what we've got. What'd be the point to making additions at this point? It's not like we need more wins at this particular point. We have lots of young'uns that need the burn and we need to "rebuild", as some people like to call it, our way to a high draft pick. The sooner we get to develop talent, the sooner we get around to winning.
I would to. I have faith that Portland's doctors just suck that much and really just ruined his and Roy's career.
Agreed. Former 1st overall pick, only 24 years old. Maybe he can turn around his career if he gets healthier?
