I'm a long time lurker and have moments that I'll post something that usually gets ignored. No big deal. I love this site and I love being a Rockets fan. I'm just noticing that since all of the change in the last few weeks there has been an unusual spike of haterade in the posts. Is it because we don't have the LOF's to collectively pick on? I'm not sure. Just want to call it out. Let's stay classy Rockets fans. I look to you posters for my Rockets information and opinion but it's getting really ugly in some of the discussions. Can't we all just get along. Now I would like to invite everyone to sing Kumbaya with me.
I don't think this ever happens in any forums. People will always manage to find something to hate on and there are always people to defend too.
The difference is, the hate quickly dissipates unless a troll is purposely egging things on. Those posters will hopefully be banned quick.

Regular season can't come soon enough. Everyone here is screaming gloom and doom and I'm looking forward to being better than last season and everyone shutting the hell up.
Funny that one of the LOH's followed Lin to the Lakers board and is already banned. I think anonymous forums bring out the worst in people. Wonder how everyone would act if name/address/picture, etc was mandatory.
I'm surprised at the level of animosity here towards Harden. In my opinion, it's become ridiculous. If it came from trolls from other sites, that would be one thing (and it could be that we're getting some trolling), but a lot of it is from posters who have been here for a while. I'm mystified. Sure, Harden needs to step up his defense a lot, he deserves criticism for his effort at that end of the court, and I think he's quite capable of being a much better defender, but he led the team to 54 wins last season. We had a winning record at home, a winning record against the West, a winning record feasting on the East, and a winning record on the road, yet people are whining and complaining about the guy like he slept with their sister and then didn't call. It's getting to be more than a little over the top, in my opinion.
There is always so much hate on the this site. People launching personal attacks on other poster and go into troll mode. Why? Because there is no repercussions
I agree. Its ok to be a little bit salty but the attitude surrounding a team you are supposed to be a fan of is out of hand. If Morey, Les, McHale, Harden, & co. are on the Joffrey-level of hatred (and we all know they are to alot of folks on here) than you should probably just walk away from the team for awhile as a fan. Its just not healthy for some people that follow so closely yet they have so much pent up hate towards pretty much everything revolving the Rockets.
