Chris Paul is not worth that contract, He is getting payed more than lebron, over paid ball player who is injury prone. I know chris is great player, and probably is one of the best when healthy, but its gonna be sad when he breaks down, and suckered the rockets in paying him all that money while he coaches harden and the team from the bench while they struggle to make the 7th seed and beat lebrons 2nd seed lakers in 2 years.
Maybe if they saw Chris Paul take less, they would be more inclined to take less themselves. The leader sets the example.

There are rules . We only had non bird rights to luc. We could only give him 2.9 million max. Morey probably wants to wait to use the 5.3 million exception till he knows the capela situation. He might need that 5.3 for a good addition at the deadline if Capela is taking the qualifying offer. IF he does and he unloads anderson we realistically can get under the salary tax and get the full MLE still as a possibility instead of taxpayer MLE. Ariza isnt worth 50 million dollars out of pocket for the owner. Luc got impatient and left. We needed to see where the finances will shake out to. If capela deal cant be reached and he signs that QO, we are probably going to try to get under the tax trading anderson at the deadline and have a big advantage with buyouts etc. Melo might take the minimum and we keep that MLE which could turn into a full MLE.
