Anyone here been skydiving? My gf has been pushing me to do this, but im kinda nervous about it. she has already been once and said it was awesome which im sure it is. Anyone have any stories or know of any good places? :grin:
I've done it about 3 or 4 times now. It's a fun thing to do at least once in your life. There are 2 places I know of in Houston that do it: Skydive Houston and Skydive Spaceland. I've been to both, though I prefer Spaceland. You don't jump solo your first 3 or so jumps; it's gonna be tandem jumps, meaning you're strapped to your instructor.
Thanks for the info man. I figured I would have.to fly with an instructor at first just didn't know which were the best places to go.
Don't do it man. Why anyone would willingly jump from such heights is beyond me. Stay grounded. Go to the movies, play some ball, have a picnic... much better and safer.
Exactly... That's what I said but I would be a puss if I don't go and she already did it. Might as well cut off my nutts grill them and serve them to her.
lol, you do it cause it's a thrill. and it's a great perspective on the earth, seeing it from way up there, just floating in the sky. I've done it several times, it's great.

Just curious, does that mean some guy is strapped to your ass? or are you strapped to his ass? is it possible to request a chick instructor or are you destined to fall thousands of feet with some douchebag breathing on ur neck? just curious, it's probably not as bad as i'm imagining.
