Massive vitriol from the one and only Skip Bayless. He had nothing to say about his chocking Golden State Warriors.
He picked the Rockets to win the series. He reluctantly picked them to win Game 4 during yesterday's show(reluctant in that he didn't believe they'd win). And he was adamant that they were robbed of a win in Game 1 by awful officiating. He is no fan of the Warriors. It may be personal because of what Zaza PaCheapShot did to Kawhi 2 years ago, but the resentment is there.
Tell him to travel to to Oakland and do the same but with New York Knicks jersey on and Durant's Name and number on it.
Steve Kerr has the easiest job in the NBA, regarding his starting lineup, just set it and forget it. Leave the starters out there and eek out the win, against most teams it works because after 3 or 4 three pointers in a row, most teams check out or get out of their game plan. Not these Rockets, they will shoot 50+ three without hesitation. Morey has these Rockets believe in the law of averages. That crisp 3 pointer with fresh legs in the 1st quarter turns into a brick in the 4th quarter.
Pisses me off to watch Bayless, Barkley et al rag on the Rockets for Durant getting open on that final 3 attempt. Watch the video. Draymond (a) shoves Rivers in the chest with both hands, knocking him 5 feet in the wrong direction, and (b) then sticks his butt in the way of PJ Tucker who tried to get around him to Durant. So, yeah, tell me all about how the Rockets are playing "football" and the Warriors are just innocent guys trying to play the beautiful game.
Skip does make sure to stick to his "James Harden is a choker" talking points. And is he really only just now noticing that Curry is a showboating little punk? He's been doing that stuff his whole career!
