I'm in shock. Chris made some fair points.

oh, so now Broussard cares so much about winning...

Where was all this talk back in 2017 when u voted for Russ? Russ did something historic on a mid-seed playoff team, and so is Harden. Keep that same energy Chris...

Charmin Broussard can't not contradict himself to justify his pick.

He stressed "right now" then says he expects Harden's numbers to fall off.

Funny hearing people explain their stupid ****.

Props to Shannon for pointing out assists too. And Skip for talking defense.

One of those exceptional years when an MVP was not from a top team was quite recent (Westbrook). You might even call it a trend.

I do think it is messed up. If Harden had won his back 2 back MVPs like he was supposed to I wouldn't be salty about it and would easily say Giannis deserves it this year.

But I'm still salty about it. They are always changing the criteria to deny Harden his awards. For people that think it don't mean much, it does. Two MVPs is something not many players accomplish.

Exactly. Anyone who voted for Russ that year and does NOT vote for Harden this year should have their credentials revoked.

lol get this trash off CF .

Chris Broussard can't string a complete sentence together . Skip Baylee's is a master of discord and Shannon is worse that both of them .

    Broussard .

I know Middleton was an all star , and I know CP3 has been hurt . But harden has CP3

Lol what kind of BS logic is that .

One dude made the all-star game because he was having a great season and the other guy has been out half the year and looked way worse than normal when he does play ..... yet , CP3 > Middleton

I mean I hope so in the playoffs , but as far as actually production/ help this season come on lol

I know fans won't accept it but the difference between this season and '17 is the Wins Leader (Giannis) is #1 in the league, not #3 like Harden was. Best Player on the Best Team is usually the easiest argument for MVP.

but he plays in the shitty east...
every other night hes playing a tanking team newyorks, bulls atlantas, and cavaliers

he gets to play 4 times against all those losers and harden gets to play 4 times vs golden state freaking worriers utah portland OKC etc

its a stat paded record as its gets

its a joke if he gets mvp based on knocking down the gauntlet of tanking teams
the only gimme in the west is phoenix

    TAKE THAT FOR DATA

The East helps Harden's argument for sure. Bucks not getting #1 helps even more. Giannis is also posting great stats. Better than '15 Curry.

Chris Broussard never makes sense and I am flabbergasted that he still gets TV time on any network.

Lebron on the Lakers is the best argument for how much worse the East still is. The NBA league office can bring the hammer down on the refs to make them officiate games ridiculously in favor of Eastern teams on their home court; we've experienced this in Toronto since like 2009!

But they can't fake Lebron going from perennial Finals representative of that cakewalk conference to now missing the playoffs in the West. His East teams NEVER had a good supporting cast, so you can't make the similar argument the other way around in Los Angeles now.

I feel sort of sorry for the "pretty girl" in the discussion. Does she get to talk or is it only "prop" status?

Probably none because we are dreadful against sub-.500 teams.
