Not only that, he trashed the franchise so he could get traded out of there. Then did the same thing in PHX before coming to Houston to eventually burn bridges.

I like the guy, but he was a knuckle-head at times.

He had issues with the sixers and suns
But he didn’t burn bridges with the Rockets

Les Alexander owed him three million on a back end deal
That has even been mentioned on tnt when he signed the minimum contract so Pippen can sign a max deal with the Rockets

Newer fans don’t understand the Les Alexander era like us fans who lived it

I can't argue with you. I grew up in Phoenix, and was a actually a Suns' fan before, during, and after Barkley played for them, but I'm not so green to have not heard about Barkley's gripes with Les. I've read many of your past comments about Les and have no reason to doubt you. I even have a Les Alexander anecdote of my own that I'll keep to myself. In short, I don't doubt one bit that he gipped Barkley.

Barkley's gipped a lot of people, including himself, at times with his attitude and lack of dedication though, but I got my money's worth watching him play, I guess.

I'm going to respectfully disagree. He never won a championship, sure, but Charles Barkley was a truly special player and every time he stepped on the court was special.

The fans loved Barkley which is the most important part

Like the fans here who love turbo or red and yellow uniforms
    Or Calvin Murphy
Or championship trophies that belong in Houston
I’m glad the sixers care what the fans think
