A GS fan called saying that the Mavs won't win the championship cause they dont have "Exceptional Defenders". Siting that their best player "DIRK" is not an Exceptional Defender.

Fan asks Kenny about the Exceptional Defenders he played with on the Championships.
    Kenny names 4:

    1. Dream - you think????
    2. Mario Elie
    3. Vernon
    4. Clyde

Kenny also notes that Rockets (clutch city) played great team defense as well.

Kenny is always true to Clutch City.

Props are always good to hear, but isn't Josh Howard exceptional?

that was what GS fan said. Kenny argued that the Dallas team was much better on D thanks to Avery Johnson's coaching.

Interesting that he put JYD ahead of Mad Max.

I loved Clyde the Glide, but he was definitely not a great defender. He was average at most aspects, but he did mount up an impressive amount of steals.

    Vernon on the other hand....whoo!!

Kenny should be thankful that he had Hakeem. That fool got burned, night in, night out.

Funny, he mentions he loved playing with Horry for his D (on TNT), but no mention of him in this?

Dallass' D improved with Avery Johnson.

    Dirk doesn't play D still.

Kenny Smith let KJ posterize him. I think theres a clip of it on youtube that has Kenny Mentioning it.

I have a love/hate relationship with Kenny, cause sometimes, I just don't get Kenny. I wonder what they learned in Chapel Hill.

That quote about being hungry and eating soup with a fork or whatever? Why not use the damn bowl and drink it out of that?

My fiancée cracks up EVERY time she thinks about that quote cuz she starts imagining someone eating soup with a fork.

    BUT

To me the quote makes sense. Anyone eating soup with a fork IS going to be hungry.

whenever Sirius and XM merge, you XMers can listen to NBA Radio and hear some good stuff. I picked Sirius over XM cause they had the NBA and NFL.

Snapper Jones and Rick Barry also have shows on Sirius.
