Just run that play that started the NO game on every possession. :)

Seriously....just pick and roll Dwight until he can't pick and roll anymore. Add some ally-oops and some offensive put-backs and there's your offensive game plan for Dwight Howard for the playoffs.

    QFT.

If all we've heard is true (that the team is pleased with his film study and stated commitment to the P&R) then we're in for a treat. A Harden/Howard pick and roll will just kill people.

Dwight and Harden don't seem like the best of friends.

As long as they don't hate each other, its all bueno.

This. Like someone said in another thread, Harden tolerates Dwight.

Sorry, but I couldn't resist FIFY!

When Wilt joined the Lakers, I was a Lakers fan(I'm definitely not one now, so don't flame me ;)). I truly believed that one basketball was barely enough for West & Baylor, let alone adding Wilt to the mix. Then Wilt said that West & Baylor could score & he would just rebound.

Howard said the right words & I think he means them. It can work! Yes, I'm excited for the playoffs!

I can't wait for the playoffs. I have a feeling we're going to see a focused and locked-in Rockets team that understands just how good they can be.

Yeah, I don't think there's a chemistry issue at all between the two. They are just two different types of people.

Dwight - Laid back, joking around, always wanting to have fun.

Harden - More serious, stern, etc.

I like how he said they are one the same page unlike last years end of year interviews.

This is what Dwight does for me in NBA 2K15; rebound and run PnR. Averages about 15-12 per game. XD

If we get a healthy Dwight who is just focused on defense, rebounding, and running the PnR, we will be DEADLY in the postseason.

Dwight has been hanging out with the Iron Sheik, he got put in the Camel Clutch, it made him humble.

Wow, amazing quotes from Dwight showing a lot of maturity and a great WINNING mindset. The thing is if he concentrates on PNR I doubt he has to sacrifice anything, just look at how much STAT scored a night playing PNR with Nash or LMA playing PNR with Brandon Roy. PNR is both the most basic and yet one of the deadliest offenses in the NBA, just PNR that **** up with Dwight on the left, DMO/JSmith on the right, Bev and Ariza providing spacing and Harden handling the rock. Do it 100 times a night= championship and crazy stats.

I've never understood why they aren't decent friends but the same could be said for shaq and kobe. They get along enough on the court to destroy their opponents is what truly matters.

"The biggest reason for me to come to Houston was to play alongside James." People called me a hater for saying Harden was the reason Dwight came to Houston not Mchale hmm.

Love to hear this from Howard.....

Of course there are the long term considerations/ concerns regarding his health.

But, in the now.. minor deal....It's one thing to play garbage man w/a few PnR's when James is playing, but quite another when he speaks of looking to score more when James is out. Yes, his role should shift some, but DMo should be posted up mercilessly on the opponent. I trust this will get sorted out...
