Disagree, while he was absolutely NOT starting caliber (or a sufficient Ariza replacement as we tried to make him out to be) he was serviceable as a 9th-10th man. He had a string of nice games in that role right before we traded him. Well considering several people liked my post, I beg to differ.
It’s almost as though they traded for him for other reasons besides being able to actually play now. There’s this thing called a physical teams usually do before a trade to make sure a player can survive rigorous physical activity such as THE ALL STAR BREAK so they can then play the actual game of basketball. We heard “but Shumpert” for a week with the team to try and divert from the obvious cash grab the owner pull and a lot of people here just bought the company line. If Shump really was brought in to be the answer, don’t you think for 2 seconds they would have thought getting his knees checked out wouid be a smart move.... or Shump was just used as a decoy away from the fact that we gave away a first round pick (which we desperately needed this summer to get talent) among other picks and players to save the owner cash to then go buy stocks or lobby the GOP.

Okay, I think the confusion is that I meant to say Brandon Wright from last year. Not Brandon Knight from this year. Also, I was half joking so don't get all worked up. This has not been a good turn of events for the Rockets. We've gutted our depth (giving away Ennis for nothing and banishing House) so we need a totally healthy roster to compete.
