http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_forums biggest internet forums out there and it looks like clutchfans is missing. According to the stats page here at clutchfans: 8,187,013 posts This puts clutch right ahead Stormfront, a white nationalism forum. I wonder if the 8 million posts is before or after the 99 move and the various site name changes. List might be horsesh+t since reddit is not on there either. Although reddit may not be qualified as a forum on any level despite volume commenting. Still congrats to clutch for being one of the top 25 sites by way of post volume. An honorable mention to dadakota and his various monikers for also making this happen.
Clutchfans should be on the best-of-the-best sites of the entire net. Speaking of DD/Margrave: doesn't he have 88,000 or so posts? How does one do this and work/attend to family and friends? I'm wondering how many of those posts were just something like: : "I agree. -DD" That would be an easier way of attaining a higher post count. Still crazy to see.
It sort of sticks out as the only forum with a fairly specialized main interest. Not sure it belongs. The Real GM forums has over 19 million posts.
They have comparable post count and start up date, but they have 4x as many members... ....... ....... .......
that aviation forum on there goes hard. 1300 members but 2.5 million posts that's almost 2000 posts PER EVERY MEMBER. Either that small community is rocking, or there are a handful of DDs there that bring that average up.
I didn't noticed those forum posting junkies, another anomaly is their launch year (1981) .......these junkies were posting BEFORE Al Gore invented the internet... ....... ....... .......
