    As we know tonight at midnight we can finally make trades with recently signed players. Who wouldn’t do Melo for 2nd rounder? He gets to go home and start for a fringe playoff team. I think Brooklyn is ideal for Melo.

    it is kind of sad that Melo right now seems to be smack in the middle of exiting the NBA as a joke.

    If the Rockets give up cash to dump Carmelo then I'm fine with it. But I'm wondering why some of these franchises won't take him. Teams like the pistons and the heat really have nothing to lose by taking a flyer on him. They are both desperate for offense and only want to play veterans. The Rockets need a backup stretch 4 badly. What about Jake Layman, Yante Maten or Henry Ellenson? Someone who could possibly offer something is better than Melo's rotting corpse. And all 3 of those guys are burried in the rotation for their respective teams.
