No. I’m guessing Melo came here knowing mid-range shots were frowned upon, but he thought post up plays would be run. If D’Antoni won’t run post up plays, then there is no point in bringing back Melo. What for? To be a catch-n-shoot 3-pt shooter? His iso game will result in long range 2-point shots (or misses more precisely). Save us the aggravation.

If I'm running post up plays …. Its Harden getting those opportunities. Everyone needs to just forget Melo ever wore a Rockets uniform …. the experiment failed miserably no need to try it again.
The reason we brought in Melo was to give Harden more rest. Same as if we brought in LeBron....or any other player that can get their own shot. We could actually use him. Remember his replacement Gary Clarke? Him & Melo had the same stat line last night, 0pts, Orebs, O assist. If we had Melo there would be no CP injury or Harden concussion
