I am old school and believe the junk he did last night was uncalled for. Some of the Radio people today have said that his celebration was similar to game 3 of the Cards series so nothing should come of it but I disagree because that celebration was a team thing and not a direct showing up of the opposing club much like Soriano did last night. His John Cena crap and pointing was not necessary and while I can live with the admiriation of his HR many other hitters have been drilled for shorter stares! Thoughts?
I'm glad I didn't stay up and watch that one. I have no idea what happened there. But, if the consensus is to bean him, then by all means...feel free if he earned it. I just knew the Astros were going to lose that game. Not a doubt in my mind.
Don't risk the ejection for Oswalt, but yeah I'd like to see it done in a later inning if the game isn't close.
Let Oswalt throw at him once, and we will get warned. The Top of the Second, when Dempster throws at us, he will get ejected. Win win!
Maybe try not giving up a game-winning grand slam next time and you won't have to deal with such pesky celebrations that threaten your very manhood.
no threat...but if you pull that crap, you're gonna get beaned. he at least suspects it's coming, i guarantee you.
Oswalt doesn't need to be the one to do it. What for a reliever to come in. Hell, have it be Sampson (although I don't think he can throw hard enough to hurt anything).
Saw the replay for the first time this afternoon. I might have forgiven just the one point to the dugout, but the fact that his shenanigans lasted the whole trip around the basepaths ... PLUNK HIM
Yep, if it had just been for a second, and then the moment passed, I would have forgiven him.....but seriously, around the ENTIRE basepath? That's one order of chin-music coming right up.
It was totally uncalled for I don't see why the MLB puts up with that crap. They threw Hawkins out yet that arse Soriano totally disrespected the Astros by continually pointing at their bench and talking trash around the bases. Who cares what year this is beam him as hard as you can Roy caveman style
