Maybe I read it wrong, but on the ESPN box score for the Suns Mavs game, it say that Shawn Marion pulled down 19 boards!!!! That equals the number of points he got! Someone correct me if I am incorrect here, but is Shawn Marion not typically a high rebound guy? I know he is 6-7, but I don't remember ever looking at any of his stat lines and being blown away by the rebounding numbers.

He has Major hops, to go along with his relentless hustle. He never gives up on a play. The Rockets sure could use a guy like this.

The difference is, Marion goes and gets his rebounds, while Mo's either fall into his lap or he couldn't be bothered.

    A couple of points:

    - Marion averaged 6.7 reb/game last year when he was playing only 25 minutes/game. This year he is playing 38 minutes/game and averaging over 10 boards/game.

    - Having a single huge rebounding game doesn't neccessarily make you a great rebounder. Case in point, Mo Taylor had a 20 rebounds in a game last year.

Marion is a stud and will be for years to come. He is also averaging 2 and a half blocks per game and 2 steals!

Good thing he is on my fantasy team!!!!!

marion has had 20 points and 15 boards or more in the past 3 games. The guy is a monster. If he keeps it up theres no way they keep him out of the all star game
