    good thing they're in the east. the only way we'd face them is if we meet in the finals, and well....that would be one hell of a series.

    Has the walker trade/signing gone through or is that speculation?

    As a die hard, I naturally say we'd kick their a** to Timbuktoo. :D Would be a very good game to watch. Next years Finals perhaps (when Houston beats another Shaq lead team from Florida)?

    We are all Rocket fans, but come on. You need a little dose of realism

    This is so wrong. Posey will be starting, haslem goes to the bench.

    YAO = SHAQ
    STRO = WALKER
    TMAC >> POSEY
    WES <<< WADE
    sura < JWILL

    advantage: heat

    DEKE > ZO
    JHO > haslem
    bowen = butler
    JB > ??
    james > ??

    advantage: rockets

    coaching: even

    we are not far off, but they will beat us. just because they have a killer starting 5 doesn't prove anything yet. walker and Jwill are cancers. they have no bench. if we are able to pick up buckner or payton we will only be a piece away from what they are now. except we have a bench.

    Well, if Yao does have a break-out season, 21/10 is not unrealistic, which is pretty close to Shaq's stats last season. Since Shaq is on the downside of his career, it is not inconceivable that Yao>Shaq this coming season.

    Yao>Shaq: maybe, maybe not (Yao is on the upside, Shaq is on the downside)
    Swift>Haslm: maybe, maybe not
    Tmac>Walker: definetely.

    So what is to laugh about?

    It should be...
    Yao > Doleac
    Swift > Haslem
    T-Mac > Walker

    Because by the time Rockets play Heat, Shaq will already on be injured list :D

    Head will shut down Wade
    Tmac won't be shut down
    Stro will shut down walker
    and Yao and Deke will shut down Shaq

    I predict the Heat in the finals next year. Who in the East can stop them now? Hell there going to win it all! :mad:

    Altough the heat are great atlentwise, i see alot of problems with walker, he is a ball hog. Talenrwise the heat are much better then we are. but chemistry can be a problem for them.

    Shouldn't the Nets be considered the East favorites?

    Nenad had a very good year and is bulking up (or so I hear) and their 1-4 are as good as anyone in the league (Kidd,VC,RJ,Raheem).

    i dont see them making that great a jump in standings. from being swept to being favorites? they are better for sure.
