The truth is, Most of the brand shoes are made in China, probably in the same plant or even on the same machine, Nike, Addidas, Reebok, Peak... you name it. The only difference is the design, which is very easily to be copied. I dont believe there are any material differences among these brands. It is all about the brand value that you paid for.

    Anyone interested: here's the site:

    http://www.chinapeak.com/

Use the flash section to find basketball shoes.
Some are pretty good, some very ugly. They look comfortable though.

Oh, I see the "BOF" explanation, now...

Is it unusual (or bad) to be a BOF?

No, It started when Yao was drafted and people joined this board, who only cared about Yao and improving his stats, rather than the team. BOF is just a joke parody to YOF.As long as you actually care about the TEAM, than you're not really an "Only-Fan." Welcome to th th board!

Some of the Peak shoes look alright, but Battier's....fugly. Just plain fugly.

Having said that, I'd wear fuzzy orange and hot pink moccasins that said "LOSER" across the back if they paid me enough......and if the LOSER brand could assure me of a safe product.

Don't worry, I am just joking out there. I couldn't see any problem to support a player beyond a team. I am one of those who started to follow Houston Rockets after Yao joined the team.
