Last year, Shane Battier had signed Peak, Chuck Hayes had sign with Li-Ning. After these successful commercial cooperation, especially Battier. Last week, SF3 and Scola had signed with China Anta, a shoe company in China.

I think Rockets owner Les Alexander has some shares of Anta. That said, Stevie and Scola shoe deal is not a surprise.

It's probably a China only deal like Shaq's.

Hey my father bought me a pair of ANTA shoes from China years ago, just for casual wear. I don't know about the technology but the shoes were long-lasting though (took a lot of punishment).

How much money were the deals for? If Chinese companies keep giving Rocket players lucrative endorsement deals....then, that and the no state income tax can prove to be an attractive incentive to play in Houston.

We often said "I CAN PLAY" refer to Battier. That is a advertising message of Peak.

I only knew Peak give Battier 400$ per year. :D

Steve was done with Reebok after his first year in Orlando. He's taken to wearing Nikes since, although he wore the Starburies a few times last season to show support.

I noticed it from hoopchina.com too. But they put in the chron link when I read the post. And in fact, Pryuen beats me to it already. He mentioned it was from Chronicle like 6 hours earlier than me. :)
