    Clutchfans purists will say we should dig up any one of however many threads exist on this guy.

    Anyway, he'd be perfect for the Rockets, but Morey would have to make him a substantial offer (in part so he can pay off his buyout, which BimaThug had mentioned is actually less now after he signed his multiyear extension overseas). Any money spent on him is money not spent on two new max dudes....so would it happen?

    It'd be nice to have him, but let's not hold our collective breath.

    I believe the highest Morey went was 3 years / 24 million. Starting point guards go at 10-14 million per year.

    If Morey strikes out on getting 2 max FAs, then I am sure he will try. I don't think the Rockets have given up on bringing Llull over. He would fit in well with the Rockets. You have to like that competitive fire.

    This was my guess.

    Morey really only had less than the MLE to offer. Wouldn't have been worth it for the guy, especially with that gazillion dollar buyout.
