@sn_nba: Serge Ibaka will miss the remainder of the NBA Playoffs with a calf injury, the OKC Thunder announced.

@okcthunder: Thunder news release and GM Sam Presti statement on Serge Ibaka @ http://t.co/gHkjSu3v3J

This changes everything for the OKC thunder. Their best shot blocker & a big that can hit that mid range jumper....at least they still have Perkins & Adams.

Does this give San Antonio an even bigger advantage?

I hope they lost to San Antonio.

They will have no chance in the Finals without Ibaka.

Really? Serge can't hire someone, preferably a veterinarian, to take care of his farm animals? He has to miss the playoffs to attend to an injured calf?

I read it while thinking of 'that look' that Carl always used to give:

It's looking more and more likely that the championship parade is going to be held on that dirty little creek in San Antonio.

Heat are winning it all. Thunder were the only team that could beat them left. Pacers are a mess and Parkers injured.

Interesting to see the construction of these two teams (Thunder and Spurs).

The spurs have tons of multidimensional players. While Parker is important, Ginobli, Belinelli and Mills can pickup some of his play making ability. Even if Duncan went down, they still have Splitter and Diaw. Baynes has contributed solid minutes. Leonard and Green give you a couple of athletic wings that can shoot from three and guard the perimeter.

The Thunder have some of this, but not near to the same degree. Replacing Westbrook, Durant or Ibaka's contributions is very difficult for them.
