Definitely needed a third thread because the first two obviously weren't working. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/sending-positive-vibes-to-carmelo-anthony.292856/ http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/positive-vibes-to-melo-thread.293970/
Melo’s time is done here...my positive vibes are reserved for CP3 and the rest of the team as a whole

Hey, Carmelo. Real talk: Anywhere you go, you'll have to make the adjustments noted in this article: http://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/25260360/where-does-carmelo-anthony-fit-now-nba I believe you can do this. Instead of adding another failure to your record, or going to a worse team, why not stay and make those adjustments here?
If he's really that dejected about his performance against OKC, he should at least try again so if he does leave, that catastrophe is not his last game here. I'm confused / disappointed that he appears to be giving up by not traveling with the team. He had a couple of decent games. I don't think he's doing himself any favors by sitting out. But again, we still don't know much about what's actually going on.
The thing that bugs me about all this is that Melo seems to be more distraught over his bad performance against OKC than over the team's poor start. Having a me-centric superstar starter can sometimes work. Me-centric role players are the kiss of death.
It is not nice to wish player having serious injuries and end their career with the Rox. "MDA : baring injuries, I expect Melo will come back to the lineup soon."
