I reckon it's gonna be a totally different pace from OKC. Both Spurs and Grizzles are more of a half court set teams. They r gonna try to slow down the game speed to disrupt our offensive flow. Hopefully pringles have some half court set plays up his sleeves as well. Anyway, we gonna kick any one of them slow a**!

The problem is, the Spurs slow play the entire game until the 4th. Then they take advantage of mistakes and put up points in a hurry. What tends to happen is the Spurs overplay the ball, forcing it out of Harden's hands too early, where the Rockets shooters are not set to shoot yet. Wind up with a TO or a forced 3 point shot.

We can beat them if Harden takes care of the ball in the final five minutes of play and continue running screens.

OKC had a huge speed and athleticism advantage, San Antonio will have a huge BBIQ and experience advantage along with an advantage at the coaching position

as great as Kawhi is on D, Pop is not gonna stick him on Harden all game...in the regular season, Green was his primary defender and Kawhi would guard him in the 4th

Harden should have an easier time against Green because he does not have the length and athleticism that Roberson has

our shooters must show up in this series, u could get away with pathetic 3 point shooting against OKC, but you're not gonna get away with it against SA

I really like the big man screen they set in first round, once they switch, I don't think any of their big can guard harden one on one, Harden would take them to the barber 24/7!

in our last game against them, SA seemed to be playing a similar defense to the one that OKC employed in game 1...I remember LMA and Dedmon getting switched onto Harden out on the perimeter and Harden getting to the rim with ease or pulling up for threes in their face

I think they were also sagging a big down into the paint when defending the PnR instead of hedging or trapping

yea in that case, it's gonna be on Harden to find our open man, 3 point shots and Harden is the key in second round.

Hard to believe Ryno will have to be an Xfactor for us to win... Because Aldridge would murder Harrell in the post...And Aldridge aint **** no more!

While it appears to be more likely that Rockets will be playing the Spurs as opposed to Grizzlies, it's still uncertain. There's still a game 6 tonight between SA and Memphis. Anything can happen.

I'll admit that a game 7 (if necessary) victory by the Grizz at SA would be a bit of a long shot, but it's still within the realm of possibility.

Why haven't we even entertained a game plan for a matchup with the Grizzlies?

Because we would outscore the hell out of offensively challenged memphis. Especially with no tony allen.

We all respect the spurs ability to beat us a bit more than we respect the grizzlies ability to beat us

Because we don't want to imagine Ryno trying to guard Zbo in the post.

We need to find a way to exploit Tony Parker everytime he's on the court. Attack with Lou Williams. If Neal plays Lou, make sure Harden and Gordon are in the game.

The question begs - how much have the Grizz left in their tank?

Spurs is a good, welcomed challenge.
