    Who DIDN'T know Lowry was gone?

    Lowry pretty much announced it for the world after the season ended, "Coaching changes or trade me". Even without Dragic, you couldn't have him on the roster after he makes announcements like that to the media and we all know Morey, he was shopping Lowry around long before even that was out there.

    If he shows he can play, I hope Morey doesn't make the mistake of keeping a 'contract asset' over the better player (as in the case of Flynn vs Lin) this year.

    I remember when Chuck Hayes was not offered a contract after a strong summer league and training camp. Later, after signing Hayes in the season, they disclosed that Haye's team just somehow always wins the scrimmages.

    Perhaps Machado can be that kind of guy. Helps produce wins.

    I'm always interested when an organization trusts an asset with loosely-aligned interests to not disclose important information. I wonder just how much information Machdo was provided--and when.
