Star Wars and Assassins Creed will eat this alive at the Box Office.

I was curious as to why they spelled passengers wrong but then realized it was just an OP typo.

    Typo. fixed

The scripts been around for a while now and it kinda looks like they may have changed the twist. I'll spoil if asked.

What was the original twist and what was the new twist?

I'm guessing it was just some social experiment? Or they were all convicts that are really sent flying to their deaths (to the Sun)?

In the script he purposely wakes her up from hyper sleep because he's lonely. Total creeper ******* move.

Hope it does well. Love Star Wars but its just a continuation of another story. I don't think Assassins Creed will do too well but never know. It'll be good to watch a movie that I don't have any preconceived ideas about and I really don't know what this movie is about other than Pratt and Lawrence in sci fi movie which sounds pretty cool.

Sunshine is near the top of my list of most underrated (or not very popular) movies. It's just so magnificently done, imo. Fan of Solaris, too, though not nearly as much.

This trailer is done very well. Nothing groundbreaking per say, but looks like both Lawrence and Pratt do a fantastic job, visuals look great, and story looks compelling.

I'm with the guy above that notes this seems as interesting as Star Wars. Clearly it will get eaten alive by Star Wars at the box office... but as a late 30 year old who thought Episode 7 was "ok" and only "great" if compared to the prequels, who doesn't expect to be shocked by the Star Wars storyline in any way... this looks at least different.

Oh, and Lawrence's paycheck is interesting. I guess she's at the point now where she gets both a huge check and a huge % of profits... which is kind of crazy. How much would she have required if the producers said no to any profit share? Internet seems to imply a budget of about $120 million. Not sure, but suspect that doesn't include a lot of other costs - marketing, etc. If all in costs are $200 million, and the movie brings in say $600 million in total, Lawrence is collecting her $20 upfront plus another 30% of $400 = $120 million. Cray cray. Certainly there's the possibility it flops. But seems somewhat unlikely if you factor in international, etc.

Looks good to me. Given the premise I didn't expect as much action as I saw in the trailer.

I believe that means she gets $20 guaranteed, plus whatever 30% of net profit is. There are tons of creative accounting methods to deal with "profit".

I'm not surprised, that's what I got from the trailer. Well, no point in seeing the movie now. Thanks for that, haha.
