    Looks like we aren't going to have a jersey sponsor this year. Sure if this is a official unveiling of the Nike uniform photo shoot the NBA would want the sponsor logo on there for sure. Maybe they will wait for the new owner to sign a deal later.

    Confirmed this is from the NBA Live photo shoot. These are the uniforms. Will miss Les as an owner, but he monumentally whiffed on uniforms during his tenure. Just awful decisions.

    The uniforms and Clyde Drexler in the booth...those are the lasting NEGATIVE portions of the legacy of Les Alexander.

    They should have brought the subtle checkers to the red jerseys. Essentially a red version of the black ones.

    I know it's a broken record on this site, but man I hate our uniforms. The Red ones are the worst. They are so abrasive to my eyes. I see people wearing those jerseys and they look like they are wearing cheap futuristic costumes.

    I can't wait until we get cleaner uniforms.

    Yes, at least a year in advance to the NBA for approval. Also, a typical rebrand takes about 2 years if done correctly. That's why the Clippers rushed job looks so terrible. Steve Ballmer wanted a fresh start right away so they outsourced the design to EA Sports interns or something like that.

    Nonetheless, the Rockets are stuck with this look for at least a couple of more seasons. 2019-2020 season is the earliest a new rebranding can take place if the sale to a new owner is completed this season.
