All 30 teams in the NBA will get a new City Edition uniform every year, with influences coming from a myriad of places, but always focused on the fans and city that support them. As you will see from the full lineup below, each team’s uniform honors an important part of their lineage. I've tweeted at Morey too many times about design change without a response. At this point, I've accepted it that it'll never happen.
May as well just swap the current reds for these and get us a true Clutch City jersey with retro colors. At this point I'd take the gray and navy unis with cartoon shark rocket over this.
Hopefully Les was holding off on a rebrand because he knew he would be selling the team. Tilman hasn’t had a full offseason with the team yet to dive into this with designers and such. He gets a pass for now.
this just screams lazy by the Rockets design team. They could have really hit a homerun on the city jerseys, but nope. Is Yao still on the team or something? This is terrible and no wonder why I don't see anyone wearing current Rockets gear. We need a Rebrand!!

Those jerseys are terrible and uncreative. Didn't we already do these uniforms for the lunar new year? Several years in a row? How does this honor the 20+ year Rockets fans or the people of Houston in ANY way. I was hoping for something super badass like a throwback or a NASA inspired theme. What a slap in the face.
