Remember this time last off-season. Sam Mack offered to play Shandon at a game of 21 to see who would make the Rockets roster. Many of us were still routing for Sam to be resigned by the Rockets (because we were growing tired with the Shandon negotiations). Man CD and Rudy sure made the right decision by letting him go. I don't think Mack is a big time drug dealer. There's a good chance he was delivering that stuff for others, or just starting out. Driving that fast with that much bud and a triple beam balance is a sign of nervousness. Your heart beats fast, you start thinking irrationally. Just think of anything you've ever done remotely risky or illegal, you just don't think right at the time. It's always easy if you're not there. Anyhow, I'm not condoning his actions in any way. What he did was stupid, but don't call him a complete idiot yet with out knowing all the circumstances. It's possible he was helping a friend and misjudged his actions greatly.
