Safest Cities in the US based on crime rankings

    Saw this on the news recently. This list was just released showing the top safest cities in the US based on 2012 crime rankings.

    Several local municipalities in top 50:

    18 - Allen
    20 - Sugar Land
    30 - Frisco
    47 - Round Rock
    48 - Pearland

    The list was based on a comparison of cities with populations of 75,000 or more using crime data reports released by the F.B.I. in six categories: murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and motor vehicle theft.

    The city I work in came in at 383. Not too bad.

    Curious - is there a good high school in Pearland? It seems like a decent area, but I think of their schools as being subpar.

    There are 2 High Schools. Pearland High is said to be good. The newer one - Dawson High not so good. Not sure why though.
