Out defending their Summer League Championship. Will fight it out with New Orleans for the 10th seed.
so does this mean the OP is predicting they are going to make the playoffs, or just posting a placeholder thread in case they do, so he can claim he predicted it? I never thought of that.
Nope it is a thread of keeping track of what they are doing. I know that there are enough teams vying for that 8/9th spot but Sacramento always got that negative vibe however they got new owners and their fortune might have started changing.
It seems like only yesterday we were abusing them in trades. Cheers Shaqremento, enjoy it while it lasts
Cousins is an absolute beast and is carrying that team. It won't last long but it is definitely crazy to watch.
Definitively a team to keep watch on. They play brutal defense giving nothing for free. Excellent rebounding team. Once they are under the bucket, it's too late. And, yeah, Casspi is doing good things to them.
Philly started 3-0 last year. Predictions based on the first week of the season are pointless.... except for the Spurs will make a playoff run. That prediction is always right...
Kings have a special player in Demarcus Cousins, and a inconsistent but at times solid all-star in Rudy Gay. There is a difference between overacheiving (Sixers early last year) and putting it together to reach your potential (Kings) I think the Kings will finish slightly below .500 and miss the playoffs, but are in the right direction.
Kings, Suns and Pelicans are all very good teams. Even with Westbrook healthy I'm not sure OKC would be a lock for the playoffs.
usually about 50 games are played after the end of december. If the Thunder are let's say...10-20 going into 2015, they will need to finish 40-10 to even reach 50 wins. that will be a tall order. durant and westbrook being out is huge. if they hover around .500 by Jan 2015, they should be able to make the playoffs.
