It's the right choice. Karl doesn't get along with many people and he seems to have gone from being a very forward thinking strategist to an outdated strategist who refuses to develop.

Cousins is a generational talent, there are coaches who can develop him and get him to mature but Karl is not that guy. It's not easy to coach Cousins, but the benefits of coaching him right are huge.

Sad reality. Randive just needs to buy Karl out, which it looks like he'll do this summer. Stupid of him to waste an entire season worth of developing young guys because of a few million dollars that don't count against the cap.

Inevitable. This whole resting players thing is bizarre.

Move him over to Boston for their draft picks and the Celtics would be in contention for the best team in the East.

Damn - just saw him at Pappas downtown and told him (tongue in cheek of course) that we still hate him for what he (and the Sonics) did to us in 1996. I'm feeling a lot like my friend who on the day after a classmate committed suicide, walked into class, looked around and asked "Who died?"

I'd take him as our coach in a heartbeat.

We'll George Karl will not be alone. There is a bunch of coaches packing, because the call will probably come in the next few days.

Any chance Jason Kidd will be fired? Bucks should be better than their record imo

Funny thing is, Sacramento already had this duo.
    What a terrible franchise.

Adelman spent 8 years there. They'll be on their 9th coach in 11 years since Adelman left. DeMarcus Cousins will be on his 6th coach.

    Eric Musselman(33-49); 1 year
    Reggie Theus(44-62); 1 year & 24 games
    Kenny Natt(11-47); 58 games
    Paul Westphal(51-120); 2 years & 7 games
    Keith Smart(48-93); 1 year & 59 games
    Mike Malone(39-67); 1 year & 24 games
    Ty Corbin(7-21); 28 games
    George Karl(44-67); 1 year & 30 games

Agreed. Just like "Black Monday" the day after the NFL regular season ends, there is "Black Thursday" the day after the NBA regular season ends.
