PORTLAND, Ore. — The wife of Portland Trail Blazers center Arvydas Sabonis has been charged a second time with drunken driving, violating her court agreement to avoid alcohol.
Ingrida Sabonis, who turned 30 last Tuesday, was arrested near her home on Sunday after the Washington County sheriff's office received a cell phone call about an erratic driver.

Her blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.26 percent, more than three times the legal limit of 0.08 percent, sheriff's spokesman Cleo Howell said Monday.

"The first charge now goes back to court, and the judge will reconsider that one," Howell said. "But the district attorney probably will combine the two charges, and it's going to be a serious charge for her this time."

Ingrida Sabonis had been cited May 16 for drunken driving, the week after her husband's Lithuanian parents had come to watch him play an NBA game for the first time. She was driving to pick up the couple's four children when police received calls about an erratic driver.

Her blood-alcohol level in the first arrest was measured at 0.23 percent.

Ingrida Sabonis is a former model and actress who was once Miss Vilnius of Lithuania.

.26 and .23?!! This woman should never be allowed to drive again. I can't believe she would even attempt to go pick up her kids in that condition!!

    That's sad...
Last Saturday when we were playing Portland, my wife jokingly asked me if Sabonis's wife been driving drunk lately... who would've thought...

    Ms. Sabonis for president!

It's not her fault. Sabonis has been very uncommunicative ever since Steve Francis dunked and sat on his head.
