I don't understand why you make this thread on the night he shoots 44% from 3 tho?

Because he virtually has no post game. There was two plays which to me stood out. Both times on the switch he was left being guarded by the Thunder guards in the post and he could not back them down and score underneath the bucket. once he almost missed the entire basket and the second time he bricked it.He needs to develop a plan B on offense

44% from three, 25% from two. 3 rebounds in 33 minutes. No defense. 20 million a year.

He shoots 3s so Morey is happy.

His game is 3's and elbow step backs.

Anything in the post from him is bonus

Well that's the problem. If his 3's are not falling he is useless. Atleast a guy like Dekker has more tricks up his sleeve.

He needs to shoot and score more 3's at an alarming rate to justify his contract because he can't really do anything else. The healthy Dmo could do so much more at the 4 than Anderson.

That was expected from the signing.

Why are you all outraged now?

His threes fell tonight. Why is the selective outrage mob upset?

I'm not outraged. I think you got the wrong impression. I'm quite amused by the Anderson signing actually.

We should trade Anderson and bring up Wiltjer.

He's got really no trade value considering the situation at the moment. And if he does turn it on a consistent basis he's a keeper. There's no middle ground here.

Oh he might as well have a no-trade clause in his contract. That's how unmovable he is.

It's the fact that if he is in a shooting slump his contract is completely devalued but if he gets it back on track this shooting ability combined with his size makes him a trendy commodity in the current NBA...

He's scoring 12.9 points on 12 shots while shooting best % from 3 in his career. Weird. But he's the definition of a stretch 4 we've wanted for the last 3 or so years, and now that we got him we gotta look for something else to want, something else to complain about. Anderson can't shoot 2s bla bla WE DONT WANT TO SHOOT 2s IN HOUSTON ANYWAY! Anderson can't play defense bla bla WE ONLY PLAY OFFENSE IN HOUSTON ANYWAY! Anderson can't rebound bla bla BUT CAPELA MADE DWIGHT OBSOLETE SO WHY WOULD ANDERSON REBOUND WHEN WE HAVE CAPELA FOR IT!
Seriously guys, haven't you watched him play in New Orleans? He is who he is, why would a 30ish year old guy would suddenly become better because he was paid more money? You expect 22 year olds to become better after you sign them to a max deal after their rookie campaign.

Look what a Pau Gasol or LeMarcus Aldridge can do compared to this guy.. Those 2 are the definition of top tier stretch 4/5s. And the freaking Spurs get to have both of them playing at the same time in harmony in their starting line up. Talk about a spoiled franchise after what they had with Duncan.

Well, he's got a little more strength and girth to occasionally defend, grab a couple boards, dunk in traffic and or make a play at times. He got to give him credit for that.
