I agree but then they had to go and remind us of the pussification of the NBA by giving them double technicals to stave off further escalation ,,,, for the children.
Adams is an embarrassment. He's setting a trend for players that get paid.. Especially 'Bigs'.. Nene makes less than 1/20 of what Adams makes and is 11 years older but easily out muscled him in many situations..
Adams just looked incredibly slow the entire series. What a waste...People were so high on him last year...and now is a $100 million anchor for a team looking to surround WB with shooting talent...good luck.
To be fair, I don't think he meant it like that. He was asking in the form of a statement, "unless they're calling it on Beverly?" Just came sequentially in his statement at a time that made it sound bad. He didn't want a tech on either dude. But anyways didn't watch any of the games on TNT, didn't want to put up with the Westbrook slobbering.
Nene is a stud.. Dude still has made quickness and b-ball IQ despite his age and injuries. He is jammer.. I bet all he has to do is market his personal training and diet in a collective video log for some team to max him out..
"In the five games, Westbrook averaged a triple-double: 37.4 points, 10.8 assists and 11.6 rebounds. But against Beverley, Westbrook was a mere mortal. He shot 7-for-27 with five turnovers for 27 points in the series. According to ESPN Stats & Information, Beverley guarded Westbrook for 38 half-court plays and held him to 0.71 points per play." (Source) - - - - - - - Pretty much if you get your guy to punch you in the nuts, and you're not Bill Laimbeer, then you're winning the battle for territory inside their head. (If you're Bill Laimbeer then it probably happens all the time for general reasons, at the grocery store, parent-teacher meetings, whatever)... you can't win head games against Beverley, and Rusty knows it... but nice try?
I don't know how you guys can spot these things. You must always be staring at dudes penis zone waiting for something to happen.
Didn't you know that when one guy gets a hippopotamus drop kick all guys feel it? It's like when Obi-Wan knows that Alderaan got blown the **** up. Or like that old movie "When Planets Collide".
