I wanna see how many “experts” if any, call out Westbrook on that missed switch. The reigning “MVP” there fell asleep at the wheel.

that's the risk you have when it's a sport that's so close to the playing area with no barrier between the fans and player.

after a huge buzzer beating gamewinner at home i'm sure the fan was in the heat of the moment. doesn't excuse the fan tho. he should be ejected and banned from the arena.

I saw many reputable journalists calling for his suspension over this and couldn't disagree more.
Who knows if the fan who was probably drunk and certainly a dumbass wouldn't come up and punch the player?

We demand of them to act like robots and want to punish them for acting like normal ppl?
If someone came suddendly to you at your workplace while you were already pissed and angry and started screaming provocations right at your face wouldn't you at least push him away?

Jokic trolled him in the post game interview and said he fell asleep on the play. After Russ being a dick and dragging him down I don't blame him. It pissed me off that Reggie was complaining about Russ getting hit on the way down as if how dare they call a foul. Any other player on a similar size player that would have been a flagrant.

 

Westbrook got rattled a little because he thought the guy was going to steal his basketball.

Even though fan was in the wrong, that situation could have easily escalated because Westbrook physically reacted to it. The fan was just hyped up and screaming is not as if he came in a threatening position. I guess it can be interpreted as you wish. I don't think Russ deserves any penalty from the league, but he needs to have a cooler head even after a tough loss.

 

The fan reminds me of the one who came out of nowhere during the malice at the palace, ron artest gave that fat fan a right mean hook.
