I'm looking at his stats right now, and they don't look at all the same to me. He improved across the board.
I think OKC would rather have Curry than Westbrook, which would effectively make KD a billionaire's Klay Thompson.
Give Westbrook the same number of illegal screens and watch him put up Wilt like numbers. Remember, Westbrook actually plays defense and still puts up the amazing scoring and assist numbers he does.
Bias due to current state of NBA. Funny how Curry is more conducive to team winning, yet it is first time he has won more than Westbrook. Curry is enjoying playing against hobbled or 2nd string PGs throughout the entire playoffs.
Westbrook is a far superior player. Steph has a better shot that's all. But like someone else said I'd take a healthy CP3 over both
This. I always thought that there is no such thing as which player is better, it's more of who is better for team X. Example is the Warriors, their entire offense is built on ball movement & player movement, I don't think WB, or Harden will be able to function well in that system, same with Kobe, or Melo, and all these ball hogs. Most NBA "stars" need to dominate the ball to get their stats, but Curry doesn't, L. James doesn't either. those two can shine in any system.
